The railroads developed a love affair for the E units until most passenger trains on major railroads were powered by one of the bulldog nose diesel locomotives. Modelers have been infected by the same bug as the railroads were. Our models have the correct "bulldog" nose contour and detailing as the locomotives appeared in the as-built condition. All versions are ready to run and come with magnetic knuckle couplers. Items 601 to 620 will be fully decorated and have the appropriate number boards. All of them of course will come equipped with our exclusive Quantum sound and control unit, which was designed and patented by QSI and can be operated with either a standard DC power pack as well as DCC controllers. The sound will be as authentic as the rest of the locomotive! Also furnished will be constant intensity directional lighting and lots of added on details plus cab interior detail. A powerful can motor will provide the necessary muscle to pull long strings of varnish! "

" Dieselization began in earnest after WWII and EMD's switchers dominated the market. The NW2 model featured a 1000 hp V-12567-A engine - 888 such lociomotives were built by 1950. EMD's first 1200 hp yard switcher was the SW7 and it also featured a V-12 567-A engine - 450 units were built between 10/49 and 01/51. The appearance of the NW2 Phase V and the SW7's is very similar, as they had the same size car body and louver patterns. Differences are in the radiators and window shapes on the cabs. Broadway Limited Imports, LLC will offer models of the NW2 Phase V, and the two variations of the SW7's - Phase I and II. "

" Broadway Limited Imports is proud to announce the brass-hybrid New York Central Mohawk 4-8-2 steam locomotive with sound in HO scale. The model is accurately detailed and most importantly, priced affordably. The Mohawk is designed and produced for operators who are interested in accurate models that run smoothly and reliably. Here are some of the features offered with this model. -ABS Hybrid Locomotive and tender with accurate detail -Premium caliber painting -Out-of-the-box operation for DC and DCC (with system auto-sensing) -5-pole can motor with skew wound armature and fly wheel -Powerful High Fidelity DC/DCC Sound equipped with authentic NYC Mohawk sounds -Nickel Silver rods and valve gear -Full cab detail -Prototypical light operation -Scale operating Kadee couplers -Builder's plate -Golden white LED headlight Overview Steam engines with the 4-8-2 wheel arrangement are usually called "Mountains." But NYC called theirs Mohawks named after the Mohawk River, as they found "Mountain" inappropriate for their flat route. NYC had four different classes of Mohawks named L-1 through L-4. The L-3 and L-4 classes were used both for freight and passenger services. A total of fifty L-4 Mohawks were produced by Lima Locomotive Works in 1943. They had huge tender coal space supported by two 6-wheel trucks. Many L-4 locomotives were equipped with smoke deflectors in their later years. The New York Central became the largest user of this wheel arrangement with 600 locomotives of this type as this type is best suited in many ways for high speed operation on flatland than slow mountain slogging, with its 4-wheel leading trucks for stability at speed. Building the most accurate and best running Mohawk is the goal of this project for our deserving customers. Minimum Radius TBD. Currently 22". Production Schedule Delivery is scheduled for Winter 2007. "

" UP TTT 6/7 Hybrid Features Broadway Limited Imports is proud to announce the brass-hybrid UP TTT-6/7 2-10-2 steam locomotive with sound in HO scale. The model is accurately detailed and most importantly, priced affordably. The UP TTT-6/7 is designed and produced for operators who are interested in accurate models that run smoothly and reliably. Here are some of the features offered with this model. - ABS Hybrid Locomotive and tender with accurate detail - Premium caliber painting - Out-of-the-box operation for DC and DCC (with system auto-sensing) - 5-pole can motor with skew wound armature and fly wheel - Powerful High Fidelity DC/DCC Sound equipped with authentic UP TTT-6/7 sounds - Nickel Silver rods and valve gear - Full cab detail - Prototypical light operation - Scale operating Kadee couplers - Builder's plate - Golden white LED headlight Overview Towards the end of WWI, the 2-10-2 type locomotive had gained popularity with railroads that were faced with heavy tonnage trains. Union Pacific was among those railroads that recognized the benefits of the design, eventually rostering 144 locomotives in seven sub-classes, TTT-1 through TTT-7, with "TTT" designating the Two-Ten-Two wheel arrangement. The TTT-6 and TTT-7 classes were the last and largest classes, with a combined total of 83 units from three different builders. Weighing an average of 300,000 lbs, the TTTs had 63" drivers and a tractive effort of 70,450 lbs. The Union Pacific TTTs received many modifications through their careers, including revised stacks, pilots, buffers and tenders. The locomotives served Union Pacific until 1956, and one locomotive, UP 5511, has been retained as part of the UP Historical Locomotive Collection. These HO scale models will be offered as the locomotives existed late in their careers, with all the prototypical modifications. Minimum Radius TBD. Currently 22". Production Schedule Delivery is scheduled for Winter 2007. "
