Steam 4-6-2 Semi-Streamlined USRA Pacific - Powered -- Northern Pacific N
New Semi-Streamlined USRA 4-6-2 steam locomotives are just the ticket for powering your 1930s or later passenger trains. These detailed models tell the story of how railroads began sprucing up their conventional locomotives to match new streamliners and improved passenger cars that hit the rails in the 1930s.
While some roads added full-body streamlining to some engines, most railroads chose to add colorful side panels to some of their passenger locos. The panels were a dash of color in a fleet of typically black locos; they were usually painted to match the roads upgraded passenger fleet.
New Model Power semi-streamlined Pacifics have features you want for detailing and performance: * Detailed Metal Boiler * DCC Compatible * All Drive Wheels are Gear Driven * All Axle Electrical Pickup on Loco and Tender * Flywheel Drive w/Skew-Wound Armature Can Motor * Standard N Scale "Rapido" Style coupler on tender
