Sound Module -- HQ115; Standing Loco listen What is a HQ sound module? An HQ
sound module is a 1.5" X 2.6" X .4" circuit board that consists of a voltage
regulator, a sound chip, with build in amplifier, a volume control, and
terminal strips. These modules have a total play time of 50 seconds and can be
played one time, or continuous looping until turned off. At the end of play,
there is a 1 second reset silence. What can this HQ Sound Module do for me?
The purpose of the HQ sound module is to bring your layout to life with sound.
Imagine walking up to an old time honky tonk bar and hearing the excitement
inside. Just listen. Or how about a Hobo by a camp fire. Where can I use these
sound modules? HQ sound modules can be used around the layout, under the
layout, or in buildings. For Trains, there are several onboard options in our
application notes. For out door use you can weather proof modules as easy as
sealing them in Zip Lock Bags or more elaborate methods if desired.
