Laser Art Structure Kits -- Company House #6; 3-1/2 x 6 x 4" In the late 1800s and early 1900s many mining and railroad companies built company towns using groups of standard plan houses. This provided local, convenient, affordable housing for their employees. Many of these homes can still be seen in ex-company towns throughout the country. A two family duplex design, style #6 has housing for two families or groups under one roof. Each half contains three bedrooms upstairs with a large kitchen, a living room and a washroom downstairs. Each half of the house has its own entrance and stairway.

Laser Art Structure Kits - Catalog Homes -- Beverly 2 Family House 4 x 8 x 4-3/4" Laser-Art building kits include precision laser-cut wood and plastic parts. Easy peel-and-stick construction speeds assembly. The Beverly is based on a design in the 1917 Aladdin catalog. It offered two complete apartments, each with its own entrance. Homes of similar design can be found throughout the country.

Laser Art Structure Kits - Commercial Buildings -- Roscoe Store 6 x 6-1/2 x 6" Patterned after a small store that once stood across the tracks from the O&W railroad station in Roscoe, NY, this store housed a barber shop, confectionery store and bakery. On the second floor were apartments and living quarters. The prototype stood into the early 1960's when it was torn down to make way for highway improvement projects. This laser-cut wood packs a lot of detail into a structure that will fit into any commercial district form the late 1800s to the present. Includes laser-cut wood parts and white-metal detail castings.

Laser-Art Wood Structure Kits -- Canaan Union Station 22 x 20 x 7" The Canaan, Connecticut Union Station was built in 1872 at the junction of the Central New England and Housatonic railroads (both later part of the New Haven). A major architectural landmark, it stood intact and essentially as built until 2001 when it was severely damaged by arson. Thanks to a grass roots local effort, the station is currently undergoing a complete restoration. This kit depicts the station circa 1940 - the plan has been modified slightly to accommodate a 90° diamond crossing (the original is at about an 85° angle) but can be modified for those that want to portray it accurately and lay their own track - based on plans provided by the restoration firm along with copies of the original plans and information provided by the New Haven Railroad Historical and Technical Association. Kit includes wood, resin and photo-etched parts, Grandt Line baggage carts, appropriate signs and posters and much more.
